From an early age, I knew I wanted to pursue higher education, with a strong interest in the business world. When I was accepted at Loyola Marymount University, I chose it over UCLA, knowing it was the place where I would thrive. The RCSF Scholarship made my decision possible, and I promised myself to make the most of this opportunity.
Now, a year and a half into my time at LMU, I am on track to graduate a semester early with a double major in Finance and Accounting. I currently serve as the President of the Finance Society, a role typically held by upperclassmen. I was also one of only twelve students selected as an equity analyst for LMU’s Student Investment Fund. Yet, what I cherish most about my experience isn’t just these accomplishments but the people I’ve met, both students and professors who have encouraged and advocated for me every step of the way.
During my time at LMU, I remained connected to my roots in Redlands and the people who made this journey possible. My family, friends, and high school teachers played a huge role. I was supported by the members of Kiwanis, where I had the honor of serving as my high school’s representative. Thanks to the generosity of the donors, I am deeply grateful for the support that has helped shape my future.
