The Redlands Community Scholarship Foundation was founded in 1966.
Inspired citizens created a memorial to Mr. Kenneth M. Hurlbert,
Assistant Superintendent of the Redlands Unified School District.
Composed of corporate members, this organization receives gifts, bequests and donations,
disbursing the money in scholarships annually to Redlands Unified School District graduates.
The average award last year was $780. The highest is $5,000 and the minimum award is $300.
The Redlands Community Scholarship Foundation serves the following schools in the Redlands Unified School District:
- (CVH) = Citrus Valley High School (The first graduation class will be in 2012.)
- (GHS) = Grove High School
- (OHS) = Orangewood High School
- (RAS) = Redlands Adult School
- (REV) = Redlands East Valley High School
- (RHS) = Redlands High School
